Aha! So you thought that Joan McGaffic had, in the manner of Sesame Street, squashed “dignity” and “Unitarian” together to form an entirely new word? Well, you will be surprised to know that “dignitarianism” can be found, among other places, in Oxford Academic, an arm of the Oxford University Press. It turns out to be a very handy term for us as UU’s.
