We will staff the Food Bank at 256 W. Merriweather this month on Wednesday, January 21 from 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Our second UUNB team will staff it on Friday, January 16 during the same hours. The need continues to be great. We are seeing more people than average and donations of both food and money are greatly needed and appreciated. We gave over 2 tons of food in 2025!!!
There is still a need for dry pet food, cereal, jelly, canned vegetables (not corn) and boxes of macaroni & cheese. Your continued support makes a huge difference in our community! Keep up the good work. If you have questions or wish to volunteer, please contact Peggy Vieira.
The Food Bank is always in need of clean egg cartons and plastic grocery bags. Think of saving those items for SOS instead of putting them into the waste system.
